Shideh has B.A. and M.A. in psychology and an Early Childhood Certificate from Vancouver Career College. She started her work in the childcare sector as a daycare teacher when she was a bachelor's student in 1994 and has been active in the industry for about 22 years. She has had different roles in daycares as educator, manager and finally, owner of family childcare. She is familiar with the job very well and always has creative ideas regarding children's education and running a daycare. She has highly accomplished creating educational and recreational activities designed to develop children's psychological, emotional, behavioural, and social skills. She is dedicated to helping children better understand the world around them and developing relationships with parents to enrich children's lives through play and learning. She loves her job and has always been appreciated by children, parents, and colleagues because of her care and expertise, especially in understanding children and parents' needs. 

She has been working with children for the past 15 years and working as a librarian and in schools. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for the past seven years. She is a motivated and passionate early childhood educator. She obtained her ECE certificate from Sprott Shaw College and Infant Toddler certificate from Vancouver Community College. Her goal as an educator is to build caring relationships with children and offer guidance strategies based on each child's developmental stage. She also enjoys establishing positive interactions with parents and believes in respecting all cultures by creating harmonious environments that support diversity. She has been supporting children to actualize their full potential in the light of her experience, energy and enthusiasm, setting personalized developmental goals/ objectives in their early formative years. She has experience working in play base, Reggio and Montessori-inspired environments. 

Mehrdad has worked as a university professor and clinical counsellor for more than 25 years. He has had managerial roles as dean and vice-chancellor of the university. Besides, he has taught early childcare educator courses like Developmental Psychology, Behavioral Guidance, etc. Also, he has provided counselling services for many parents in 8 daycare settings and has assisted them regarding their parenting concerns and designed and implemented many parenting workshops. He has a responsible adult certificate and a doctoral degree in educational psychology. He provides parents of enrolled children with workshops and counselling sessions regarding their concerns with parenting and their children's behavioural and emotional concerns as a part of Cyrus Child Care's no-cost services. 

 Jenny is an accomplished Early Childhood Educator with a career spanning over 18 years. For the past two years, she has been an integral part of the Cyrus community, where she is known for her dedication to fostering a supportive and enriching learning atmosphere. Her professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that a safe and nurturing environment is the essential foundation for children to explore, learn, and flourish.  

 Nav brings her passion for early childhood development to the Cyrus community. With a belief that a child's primary work is play , she intentionally designs activities that foster emotional awareness and build social skills. Through strategies like collaborative games, role-playing, and helping children build their emotional vocabulary, Nav supports young learners in understanding their feelings and interacting with others . She is grateful to partner with families and is dedicated to ensuring each child feels secure, valued, and excited to learn. 

 Tessa brings a heartfelt commitment to her role at Cyrus, where she strives to create a learning atmosphere defined by support, respect, and inspiration. She believes that strong, meaningful connections with each child are the key to successfully guiding their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Tessa's primary goal is to encourage curiosity and instill confidence, empowering children to thrive both inside the classroom and beyond.
 

 Sunpreet brings passion and dedication to her role as an Early Childhood Educator at Cyrus Child Care. She specializes in supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, and cognitively—through a rich variety of creative and engaging methods. Sunpreet believes in the power of nurturing educational experiences and is dedicated to helping each child flourish, fostering in them a lifelong sense of curiosity, a strong foundation of confidence, and a feeling of being valued and cared for. 

 Gagandeep Kaur brings over five years of expertise as an Early Childhood Educator, with specialized training as an Infant-Toddler and Special Needs Educator. At Cyrus, she is passionate about designing engaging, hands-on learning opportunities that foster growth, build confidence, and spark curiosity in every child. For Gagandeep, the most rewarding aspect of her work is witnessing each child's unique journey as they explore the world around them and reach their developmental milestones.
 

 Jaspreet  Kaur is an educator with a special passion for infant and toddler care. Over the past two years, she has dedicated herself to supporting babies during their most sensitive and important stages of development. Jasmeen’s approach is rooted in the power of connection; she focuses on building trust and security with each child through responsive caregiving, purposeful daily interactions, and the comforting predictability of consistent routines. She is committed to providing a warm, loving environment where the youngest members of the Cyrus community can thrive. 

 Sabera is a dedicated early childhood professional with a diverse and extensive background in education. She served as a teacher for five years, honing her skills in child development and curriculum delivery, before advancing to a management role for two years, where she developed strong leadership and organizational abilities. Now, as a qualified Early Childhood Educator Assistant following her studies in Canada, Sabera is excited to bring her unique blend of hands-on teaching experience and big-picture insight to the classrooms at Cyrus Childcare, ensuring a high-quality, nurturing learning environment for all children.
